Free Printable Advent Calendar
I created PDF files in US Letter size, in two different designs.
Each free printable advent calendar includes:
- 24 cards with tasks
- 24 printable cards with dates
First, download your favorite design and print a PDF file out on two separate pages.
To make your own advent calendar sturdy, you need to print the cards out on white card stock.
Then, carefully cut out each section of the printable calendar using, for example, a craft knife.
Then put the cards with dates on the cards with tasks and pin them together.
For instance, I usually use mini paper clips to keep them together and put on some kind of string.
Alternatively, you can use the back of each card to glue them together.
However, I’d rather avoid using a glue stick because it tends to make free printables look unaesthetic.

Free Printable Advent Activity Cards
As I mentioned before, Anja Home’s printable Christmas advent calendar includes fun activities for the whole family.
Surely, this Christmas bucket list is strongly inspired by the family tradition in which I was raised.
Indeed, during the holiday season, my family and I always were looking for a fun way to feel the Christmas spirit during our daily routine.
As a result, all month of December I spend quality time with my loved ones.
In other words, I highly recommend starting an amazing journey of 25 days of activities.
For instance, I love to gather around the kitchen table to bake festive cookies, while singing Christmas songs.
Obviously, each Christmas cookie needs to be decorated with icing.
Also, sharing a favorite Christmas story like for example, “A Christmas Carol” is a wonderful way to celebrate this day of advent.
Additionally, including random acts of kindness in an advent activity calendar like leaving candy canes for your neighbors, is a great thing to spread love and joy to others.
In fact, doing a good deed is so rewarding and increases your happiness immediately.
Another great activity I simply had to include in an activity advent calendar is to build a snowman.
Moreover, this fun idea is perfect for kids of all ages.
Last year, I made cute Christmas cards.
Some of them I sent to my college friends, the other ones I used as a decor in a living room.

What Is An Advent Calendar?
In general, an advent calendar is a Christmas countdown calendar where you can count down the days left to the big day: Christmas (to be more specific: Christmas morning).
Also, you start opening your calendar on December 1st and finish it on December 24th (Christmas Eve) or, alternatively, on Christmas Day.
Usually, you get a cute paper box (for instance, a little house) filled with beauty products, sweats, toys, treats, mini-figures, etc.
However, for me personally, the advent calendar means more than just opening tiny doors to find a piece of chocolate.
Certainly, it’s all about creating amazing holiday memories with people I love and care about.
Indeed, my goal is pretty simple.
I want to make this holiday season filled with happiness and valuable bonding time.
For this reason, I created a free printable advent calendar with Christmas activities.
Undoubtedly, it’s a simple way to celebrate all days of the Christmas season.
No matter if you spend time making Christmas printable ornaments or building a snowman, these advent activities will bring you all together.
In fact, I truly believe that in these small, everyday moments, you discover the real spirit of the Christmas season.
Cute Advent Calendar Ideas
Last but not least, there are different kinds of advent calendars you can choose from.
For instance, your perfect advent calendar might be:
Printable Christmas Bible Studies
Because Christmas is a time for Christians to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, you may want to study the true meaning of Christmas.
Every day, reading and studying the Bible helps you learn more about the story of Jesus’s birth from the Bible.
Advent Calendar Coloring Page with Bible Verses
Surely, it’s a great way to learn about the Bible and its teachings, especially for kids.
Basically coloring advent pages with bible verses can be both fun and educational, making it a valuable tool for teaching and understanding the Christian faith.
When kids color these pages, they can learn a lot from the Bible.
Also, doing it themselves helps them understand even better.
Definitely, it’s learning while still having fun.
So, if you’re looking for a way to combine education and entertainment during the holiday season, a coloring advent calendar with Bible verses is a fantastic choice for your family.
Reusable Advent Calendar
Undoubtedly, getting a reusable advent calendar reduces waste.
Instead of purchasing new calendars year after year, you get little bags or printable boxes you can fill in with treats.
If you’re wondering what to put in these cute advent boxes, here are some cute ideas.
Obviously, the easiest way to fill boxes is to get sweets.
Additionally, you may place some small items inside, such as cute soap, tattoos, puzzles, mini-figures, stationery, bath toys, etc.
Although the initial cost may be higher, they’re definitely cost-effective in a long time.
In conclusion, I think that the holiday season is not just about gifts and decorations.
Obviously, it’s the most aesthetic part of it, but building memories with your loved ones is so much more valuable.
For this reason, by creating an advent calendar filled with holiday activities, you’re not only counting down to Christmas.
Basically, you’re counting up the great moments you’re spending as a family.
