I designed this monthly digital planner specifically for beginners.
Indeed, these pro planners include many pages that make it so easy to get overwhelmed, especially at the beginning.
On the other hand, this planner is simple, easy to use, and includes only one month.
Here’s why you’ll love it:
- monthly calendar is fully hyperlinked so you can easily move through your planner
- Sunday start dates
- also, it includes daily pages so you can plan one day at a time
- unlike my other digital planners, this one is in a portrait mode
So now let’s see what each monthly dated digital planner page looks like.

What is Included in a Monthly Digital Planner Template?
The very first thing you see after opening this planner is a simple, minimalist cover.
In fact, I didn’t want to provide any kind of distraction so I decided to go with a plain cover page.
Nothing fancy but still aesthetic.
Index
Also, every digital planner, even the simplest one, must include an index page.
Undoubtedly, it’s so convenient to have all important pages gathered in one place.
Monthly Digital Planner Template Pages: Calendar
If you’re similar to me, you struggle to keep track of all the tasks and appointments.
For this reason, using a monthly calendar is a real game-changer.
Additionally, I highly recommend working with a color-coding system.
What I mean by that is you simply set up your calendar with color-coded categories for different areas of your life.
For example, I use
- green for work
- blue for personal things like health, etc
- yellow for family
- purple for self-care
Vision Board
Also, I included a monthly vision board, where you can put all things inspirational.
Basically, you paste aesthetic images, motivational quotes, and power words and arrange them on a page in a way that feels inspiring and visually appealing to you.
Definitely, it’s a great daily visual reminder that will make you motivated to work towards your dream life.
For instance, I find it easier to start even the most boring tasks because I know they will help turn my aspirations into reality one day.
Monthly Habits
First, I don’t know if you noticed that this monthly planner doesn’t include a goal page.
Although I’ve always been a huge advocate for goal setting, I’ve recently discovered something.
Building habits that support goals is much more important than setting goals.
For this reason, I focused more on creating a great “habit” page.
As I mentioned many times while writing about habits, it’s all about setting a routine.
This planner page allows you to come up with a specific plan to build a new habit.
No products found.
According to “Atomic Habits” by James Clear, it’s easier to build a new habit when you make it obvious, attractive, easy, and satisfying.
For example, let’s say I want to start journaling.
First, I place my iPad on the kitchen table as a visual cue to remind me to write each morning.
Next, I link journaling to an existing habit: after brushing my teeth, I sit down to journal.
I make the experience enjoyable by listening to lofi music and using an aesthetic digital journal you can download below.
To keep it easy, I use a daily journal with prompts.
Finally, I make it satisfying by adding cute stickers after completing a page.
Monthly Review
At the end of each month, set aside some quiet time to reflect on your month.
Think about highlights, challenges, and overall progress and how you can adjust your approach for the upcoming month.
Also, don’t forget to celebrate your successes.
Weekly Planner
Also, I designed weekly planner pages as simple boxes with a place for tasks and next month’s tasks.
Daily Planner
Moreover, breaking down tasks into manageable chunks and scheduling specific times for each can help keep your day structured.
To make it easier, you may want to use additional daily digital templates I designed to help you cut down your daily to-do list.
